About

A passion for 5 generations

My story begins in 1925, when my great-grandfather Krikor Avakian landed from Armenia on French soil. He did not yet speak our language very well, and worked in a factory. Seeing no prospects for advancement, he became friends with his hairdresser and fell under the spell of the atmosphere that emanated from hairdressing salons, the hairdressing profession...

For a long time I did my homework after school in the back room of my mother's salon, I spent a lot of time there, weekends observing, talking with customers, helping, learned to do shampoos standing on the phone books because I wasn't yet tall enough to reach the sinks...

I, in turn, was enchanted by the beauty of this profession which makes people beautiful, which gives you self-confidence, reveals you in your best light.

Graduated with a CAP and a BP, at 21 years old after having worked a few years, I invested all my savings, earned thanks to the apprenticeship and I opened a small salon. A small cocoon of 27m2 rue Vendôme, in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon.

I invest in training, without limits. Our profession evolves far too quickly to claim to know everything.

Five years later, we moved to a space 4x larger, 200 meters further, on rue Cuvier. The salon of my dreams ... Here, we have more space to meet the growing demand.

The team is also growing, a solid, trustworthy team, passionate people like me. Continuously trained to always give you more.

Barely a month and a half after the opening of this brand new salon, a dramatic turn of events! Here we are all confined. An extreme situation, which allowed us to get closer via social networks.

Many of you were short of hair care products, wanting to continue to get the products we recommended to you at the salon.
