Oily scalp
Here is a selection of products that will allow you to regulate your excess sebum and/or oily dandruff for a healthier scalp and to find a less frequent washing.
Remember to use a conditioner/balm after each wash, focusing the application on the ends.
Why do we have oily hair?
It is the sebaceous glands located under our scalp that produce sebum. If they are attacked, irritated or if you suffer from a hormonal imbalance, these glands can produce more sebum than normal. Pollution and your environment as a whole can also affect your sebum production.
How to treat oily hair?
You should use gentle, non-irritating products for your scalp, which will help rebalance it. It is also important to be able to space out your shampoos as much as possible. The more you shampoo, the more you sensitize your scalp. You can then use dry shampoo to space out your washing days.
You can also use scalp treatments. These treatments are to be applied locally to the roots and they will help you rebalance your scalp.
