Dry shampoos
What is dry shampoo used for?
Dry shampoo is used to absorb excess sebum on your scalp and to space out your shampoos. If you are prone to an oily scalp, dry shampoo is ideal for spacing out your shampoos and thus not weakening and unbalancing your scalp.
How to apply dry shampoo?
If you have an oily scalp, you can apply it the day after your shampoo. You should not wait too long before applying your dry shampoo, because the more sebum there is at the roots, the more difficult it is to absorb it. You can also apply your shampoo in the evening before going to bed so that the sebum can be absorbed all night and prevent having a "white roots" effect in the morning.
Use dry shampoo to add volume
Dry shampoo can help you add volume to the roots if you have fine hair. You can apply it to clean hair, mainly at the roots, on the top of the head and then work it into your volume with your fingers.
Dry shampoo for oily hair
If you have oily hair, this product will become your essential. Sebum is created by the sebaceous glands located in your scalp. If this gland is sensitized, it can then produce abnormally more sebum. Excessive washing can also weaken its glands and irritate your scalp, which is why dry shampoo is a good solution in order to be able to space out your shampoos and therefore irritate the sebaceous glands less.
